Located within the boutique Hotel Indigo, the Liverpool-version of Marco Pierre White offers sophisticated, modern dining with that fierce determination and a level of quality that you would expect from the name. Simplicity, detail, and flavour come together perfectly at MPW Liverpool.

The Vibe

The Chapel Street restaurant certainly has its audience, with a cool and contemporary design that leads into the dining area and invites that level of elegance that you would expect from the UKs first rock ‘n’ roll chef. The urban design fits in nicely with the business district of Liverpool, and the brown leather chairs and exposed brick walls brings an industrial aesthetic that exudes confidence. The service is always courteous and professional, with a level of finish and professionalism to proceedings. Guests are welcomed warmly and helped to relax, with a focus on the quality of the food.

The Food

Throughout the menu you’ll find a selection of modern dishes delivered to a high standard, and those childhood favourites that we all know and love (such as the Shepherd’s Pie or the Chicken Curry). The team deliver fresh ingredients, cooked well, inspired by our childhood memories of food to evoke that warmth and charm of our grandmother’s cooking. If you are visiting during the day and are in need of a quick and filling lunch, there is a range of classic sandwiches and big salads. For a more leisurely dinner, the starters selection is impeccable, with a classic French onion soup, calamari, scotch egg, and camembert all popular options. The mains include a range of the finest steaks, fish, burgers, and vegetarian and vegan dishes. You can also book in for an exquisite take on classic Afternoon Tea at MPW, with the delicate finger sandwiches with fillings such as smoked salmon and light cream cheese, cucumber, roast beef and horseradish, alongside macarons, carrot cake, cheesecake, and scones. Delightful, and a fancy treat.

The Price

Hors D’oeuvres are priced between £8 and £10.50, with the steak menu priced between £25 and £28 for one person. The burger menu is between £15 and £17 on average, and fish dishes are all priced between £15 and £20. The steakhouse specials, such as Shepherd’s Pie and Chicken Curry, are between £15 and £24.
